Install Takomi Saver manually
Takomi Saver is the new name for IG Saver. Our Chrome Web Store listing was removed over a trademark dispute. Until it is restored you can install the extension yourself — it takes about two minutes, and your existing license keeps working.
For Google Chrome, Edge, Brave and other Chromium browsers on Windows, macOS and Linux.
- Chrome cannot install an extension from a file by double-clicking it. You will use Chrome’s built-in Load unpacked mode instead. This is a normal, supported Chrome feature.
- Chrome will show a “Disable developer mode extensions” warning each time it starts. That is expected for any extension installed this way — you can dismiss it.
- This copy will not auto-update. We will post here and email license holders as soon as the Store listing is back.
Five steps
Unzip the downloaded file
Right-click takomi-saver-3.2.5.zip → Extract All… (On macOS, just double-click the file instead.) You will get a folder containing manifest.json.
⚠️ Keep that folder. Chrome loads the extension from it every time it starts — if you delete or move it, the extension disappears. Put it somewhere permanent, for example C:\Users\you\Documents\takomi-saver.
Open Chrome’s extensions page
Copy this into Chrome’s address bar and press Enter:
chrome://extensions Turn on Developer mode
The toggle is in the top-right corner of that page.

Click Load unpacked and select the folder
A new row of buttons appears on the left. Pick the folder you unzipped in step 1 — the one that directly contains manifest.json, not the folder above it.

Pin it, and re-enter your license key
Click the puzzle-piece icon in the toolbar → pin Takomi Saver. Open it and press Get Pro. The extension opens the site and shows a dialog — click Already purchased? Enter license key near the bottom, then paste your key.

Already bought Pro? Your key still works — follow step 5 above and paste it in. There is nothing to buy again.
Each key covers 3 devices, and a reinstalled machine can count as a new one. If you still have the old machine, free a slot in the extension’s settings there. If you don’t — a wiped or replaced computer — email [email protected] with your key and we will reset it for you.
Lost your key?Email us from the address you bought with and we will send it again.
Reinstall from the Chrome Web Store, then remove this manually-installed copy. We will announce it on the service notice page and by email — you do not need to keep checking.
